We have one simple objective, which is to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with our products and our services.
AofG Terms and Conditions
1. Our Guarantee
Art of Greetings has a simple No-Quibble Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with any purchase from Art of Greetings, please let us know so that we can put things right.
2. The contract between us
Art of Greetings (from here on know as ‘We’) must receive payment of your entire purchase before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been accepted by us we will notify you via email to the email address you have specified during login or on your order form. Our acceptance of your order will bring into existence a legally binding contract between us.
3. Price
All prices payable for our products are as set on our website
All prices include VAT at the current rate
Delivery is free on any order above £6.00 to the UK
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, cleared cheques. We do not accept any other form of payment.
4. Our offers
Any offers we make are designed to be used independently, and are not available in conjunction with any other offer.
Offer codes are not transferable and we reserve the right to cancel offer codes should they be misused.
We reserve the right to increase limited offer deadlines at our discretion.
5. Cancelation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
One or more of the product ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error
We have insufficient stock to complete your order.
In the event that we do need to cancel your order, we will notify you via email as soon as possible. You will then have the opportunity to amend your order or we will refund your credit card purchase. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
6. Your right to cancel with us
In accordance with our No Quibble Guarantee, you have the right to cancel your contract or order with us at any time.
We will endeavour to cancel any order, however, should that order have already been shipped then it is your responsibility to ensure the safe return of that order prior to any credit or refund being made to your account, unless the products delivered are deemed to be faulty in which we will compensate for additional postage back to us.
7. Delivery of products to you
We will deliver the products ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order. It is, however, your responsibility to provide us with an accurate delivery address.
We offer free delivery using The Royal Mail’s standard postal service on any orders above £6.00.
For larger orders we reserve the right to choose another delivery method at our discretion.
A standard postal charge of £1.20 will be charged for any orders below £6.00 for which your order will be sent to you using Royal Mails standard postage service. A postal receipt may be obtained from us. We take no responsibility for any failure to deliver by Royal Mail.
Should you require a guaranteed delivery, for example Royal Mail’s Special Delivery, a standard charge of £5.00 will be made. Please note: A signature will be required for delivery. Please indicate at time of ordering should you require this service.
8. Use of our services
We reserve the right to cancel or amend any of the additional services we offer without prior notification.
We will undertake to operate our reminder service as accurately as possible, but we will not accept any responsibility for any failure to deliver any occasion or date reminder to you.
We believe that any articles on our site are accurate. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend any article without prior notification.
It is your responsibility to ensure the correct spelling has been used when ordering any personalised product or using our personalisation service.
We reserve the right to amend formatting of words or positioning of logo to best fit spaces provided for personalisation.
We accept no responsibility for any offence or distress that your personalised message may cause.
We reserve the right to cancel any personalisation order should we see fit, under which circumstances we will offer a full refund.
We reserve the right to print our logo onto all personalised inlay sheets in such a way that will not distract from your message.
We will endeavour to accurately demonstrate the correct postal classification of any product and this is solely intended as a guide. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained the correct postage for any item purchased through us. We will not be held responsible or liable for any short comings due to your forward posting.
9. Returns
Should you not be completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us via email
for a returns code prior to returning any purchases.
Personalised products can not be returned unless they are faulty.
Returned items must be returned to us undamaged and unopened, unless they were received damaged.
Upon receipt of your returned order we will either issue you with a full refund, credit note or an exchange.
10. Re-Sale
You are not permitted to sell and must not offer for sale or re-sell any of our products including PDF downloads.
11. Use of our site, printed materials and intellectual property
All content at www.artofgreetings.com is protected by copyright law, database right and other intellectual property rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute or use for commercial purposes, or copy, modify or distribute for personal purposes any of the content from this web site.
12. Our liability
You may purchase from abroad but you must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase products from our site. We make no representation nor accept any liability in respect of the export or import of the products you purchase.
Art of Greetings or any other party (whether or not involved in creating, producing, maintaining or delivering the products herein), and the officers, directors, employees or agents of any of them, exclude all liability and responsibility for any personal injury arising from the use of any products purchased from our site.
If your order is not what you expected or arrive damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity we shall have no liability to you other than as set out below.
12.2 You must notify us of the problem, and under this clause our only obligation will be:
12.2.1 To make good any shortage;
12.2.2 To supply and deliver substitute products if your original choice cannot be delivered for any reason;
12.2.3 To replace any products that are damaged or defective; or
12.2.4 To refund to you the amount paid by you for the products in question in whatever way we choose.
12.3 We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the products in question under this clause.
Art of Greetings or any other party (whether or not involved in creating, producing, maintaining or delivering this website), and the officers, directors, employees or agents of any of them, exclude all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to you or a third party (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, use of money, or loss or damages arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise) in connection with this website in any way or in connection with the use, including but not limited to loss or damage due to viruses that may infect your computer equipment, software, data or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing this website or your downloading of any material from this website or any websites linked to this website.
13. Force Majeure
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver your order or any delay in doing so or for any damage to products delivered that is caused by any even or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but without limitation to, breakdown of systems, site problems, industrial disputes, accident, flood, fire or explosions.
14. Invalidity of our Terms and Conditions
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
15. Privacy
You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy PRIVACY POLICY
16. Governing law
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the products to you by Art of Greetings. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these Terms and Conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any products offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
